Workspace/Teacher First Aid Training

The Workspace/Teacher First Aid course is a great  . Most people don't need the full First Aid certificate. for anyone seeking a basic knowledge of first aid.

Adult and Child Only
Length: 5 hours
Cost: $100 per student

Adult and Child +Infant
Length: 6 hours
Cost: $100 per student 

*Comes with a 2 year certification.

Summery Overview

First Aid
-Introduction to injuries and the importance of First Aid
-Scene Size-up, legal aspects, prevention of disease transmission
-Injury Emergencies: Bleeding control, impaled objects, amputations, head injuries, spinal injuries, burns, and shock
-Sudden Illnesses: Asthma, allergic reactions, heart attack, stroke, seizures, and diabetic emergencies
-Environmental Emergencies: Heat and cold related emergencies, poisoning, opioids

CPR and AED
-Heart attack and cardiac arrest
-Adult and child CPR
-Compression only CPR
-Airway obstructions
-Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

The Basic course DOES NOT include the following...
-Wound care
-The following injuries: nose, tooth, eye, ear, chest, abdominal, bone, joint, and muscle
-The following Illnesses and Emergencies: fainting, pregnancy complications, cold related emergencies, poison ivy, animal bites, stings, marine animal injuries
-First Aid kits, triage, emergency rescue moves
