Bleeding Control

The Bleeding Control course is designed to help those with little to no medical training in an emergency bleeding situation.  You will learn how to stop life threatening bleeding and care for those in need, until medical services (EMS) arrive.

Bleeding Control
-Introduction to injuries and the importance of First Aid
-Scene Size-up, legal aspects, prevention of disease transmission
-Types of Bleeding: Arterial, venous, capillary, junctional, airway, internal.
-Bleeding Control: direct pressure, compression bandages, tourniquets, and wound packing.
-Triage, emergency rescue moves and transportation.
